Fewer cattle forward with it being later on in the season but trade was as strong as last week with lesser sorts yet again selling well.
A fabulous run of Limousin and Charolais cross steers from Messrs Woodman, Great Chesters sold to £1710. At the same money was a hefty Angus cross heifer from Messrs Burn & Son, Aydonshields.
Another smart run of ¾ bred Limousin heifers from A & D Proctor, Swarland Old Hall sold to £1150.

Swaledale Ewes sold to £113 for a pair from Messrs W D & B Thompson, East Unthank.
