The sale was led by a Lim x heifer from Mr JRG Johnson, West Wharmley selling to 287.5ppk.
Highest grossing beast was a heavy Charolais x steer from Mr F T Walton, Flotterton selling to £1951.09

A reduced entry of cows but a similar show with more leaner feeding sorts on offer.
Trade has firmed and has maintained the previous weeks rates.
The better end of feeders regularly broke the 190ppk barrier.
Leading the sale was a well finished, young Angus x cow from Bainbridge Farms, Donkin Rigg selling to 239.5ppk.
Messrs Mews, Glendue Farm sold non assured Blue cows to 227.5ppk.
Stock bulls sold to £1956.55 for a Blonde from Messrs P & P M Walker, Houselope Grange.
More cast cattle needed on a weekly basis to fulfil the weekly demand here at Hexham.

Topping the sale at £140 was a pair of Suffolk x lambs from Messrs G Carins & Ptns, Broomhall.
Top ppk was Beltex lambs at 320 ppk from Matfen Home Farms,
Once again with trade not affected by the number forward, all vendors went home happy,
