Cast cows continue to meet a phenomenal trade here at Hexham, with 46 cows going on to average 214.8p/kg
All Classes were keenly bid for and in great demand
Top of the charts this week was a black Limousin cross cow from Messrs J Hunter, The Steel, which realised 286.5p/kg and took top grossing honours at £2226.11
Two beasts achieved 267.5p/kg, both Limousin cross cows from Messrs G H & A Walton, Farnbury and Mr J W Smith-Jackson, High Town
Plenty leaner feeding sorts cashing well in excess of 200-205p/kg and sought after by finishers
