Store Cattle Hexham and Northern
Marts had forward an entry of 950 Store Cattle & Suckled calves at
their weekly sale, including 69 cattle competing in the Annual Young
Farmers Suckled Calf Wintering Competition. Another superb
entry of cattle met a highly satisfactory trade with numerous cattle
exceeding the £1000 barrier. Forward cattle met
a very similar trade, selling to a top of £1160 for a cracking Young steers met
another fierce trade, however heifers were marginally easier on the week. Cattle 30 Months + Cattle 23 – 30
